ARRIVAL use cookies on the platform for the following purposes:

  • To monitor and analyse the performance, operation, and effectiveness of the Platform

1. Strictly necessary cookies. These cookies enable services you have specifically asked for. For those types of cookies that are strictly necessary, no consent is required. These cookies are essential in order to enable you to move around the platform and use its features, such as accessing secure areas of the platform. For example, these cookies will:

  • identify you as logged in to the platform, and

In this case, Matomo, which generates statistical data, reports, and other similar information about the Platform use by means of performance cookies, which are stored on users’ computers. All data is collected and used in aggregated anonymised form. Matomo may store and manage this data.

4. Targeting cookies are used to deliver ARRIVAL content more relevant to you and your interests. They are also used to limit the number of times you see, as well as help measure the effectiveness of ENTRANCE and RECIPROCITY campaigns.

5. Cookies policy and/or notice acceptance cookies are persistent cookies intended to identify if users have consented to the use of cookies on the Platform (see below).

How we collect your consent

When you enter ARRIVAL for the first time, you will see a banner notice – like the one below – requesting your consent to use cookies while using the platform.


The Platform will only collect strictly necessary cookies, also including performance and functionality cookies. As these cookies are essential for the optimal functioning of the Platform, you therefore agree to their collection when using the Platform, its services, and by continuing to browse.

Browser settings

Cookies can also be removed from your device using browser settings but there will still be some deterioration in the service you receive (for example you may not be able to access a page you earlier personalised).

This policy applies to the domains of the ENTRANCE and RECIPROCITY projects.  However other ENTRANCE and RECIPROCITY partner websites may contain policies which are different from this one.
