What

General information about our organisation and our smart city/region platform

What is the ARRIVAL project?

ARRIVAL is a platform born out of two EU-funded projects, ENTRANCE and RECIPROCITY, offering common and legitimate European Matchmaking Platforms and complementary off-line services designed

  • (a)    to equip mobility stakeholders with the necessary tools, knowledge, contacts and methods to accelerate the replication  of  existing  innovative  mobility  solutions,
  • (b)    to mobilise financial resources to accelerate the market access and scale up of “first of a kind” sustainable transport solutions.

The overall concept focus of the ARRIVAL platform lies in the ‘supply-demand-finance' triangle that is envisaged for all transport and mobility modes and all relevant stakeholders.

What are the benefits of creating an account on the ARRIVAL platform?

Creating an account on ARRIVAL is free and is the best way to benefit from ARRIVAL resources and its community of transport and mobility leaders and innovators. In addition, this section provides the following resources relevant to demand actors:

Entities involved in Purchase Aggregation requests will receive tailored support from the ARRIVAL neutral trustee to facilitate their grouped transactions.
  • A space to share foreseen Purchase and Replacement Plans to communicate buyer needs to the community of ARRIVAL suppliers of innovative transport and mobility solutions.

What is in the SUPPLY section?

The SUPPLY section on ARRIVAL provides an overview of the member organisations on ARRIVAL that can provide first-of-a-kind and near to market transport and mobility solutions (technologies, products and/or services).

In addition, this section provides the following resources relevant to supply actors:

  • A space to showcase their innovative Solutions – first-of a kind zero (or near to zero) emission transport and mobility products, technologies and services with a Technology Readiness Level of 7 or above. These solutions directly support the goals established by the European Commission to reduce the transport CO2 emissions and respond to the increasing mobility needs of people and goods.
  • An overview of the Patents most relevant to the area of innovative transport and mobility solutions.

What is in the FINANCE section?

How can I connect with another member on the ARRIVAL platform?

As a logged-in user, you can set your matchmaking preferences from within your user dashboard. Once your preferences are set, you may be matched to individual users and organisations, and from this point you are able to directly contact these members you are matched with by:

  • Accessing the link to the profile of any organisation or member you are matched with from the ‘My matches’ section of your user dashboard.
  • Contacting any member who you are matched with directly via the ARRIVAL messenger (search by their name or organisation). Access the messenger from the top header of the platform.

We are continuing to develop new ways for members to connect – stay tuned in the future months as we release more of these features.

How do I share content (Best Practice or Solution) on the ARRIVAL platform?

To share content on ARRIVAL, follow these steps:

  • First, make sure you are logged in to the ARRIVAL platform.
  • Then, from your personalised user dashboard, you will be able to view widgets to manage and edit all of your created content directly from the user dashboard.

What if

Troubleshooting and related help

What if a RECIPROCITY stakeholder search and access an ENTRANCE Stakeholder, or vice versa?

Yes. Stakeholders are not segregated according to their involvement with either Project. ENTRANCE, RECIPROCITY and OPINA, among others, are simply partner projects, all aiming to achieve clean and smart mobility aims as defined in their own charters. The ARRIVAL tool aims to facilitate matchmaking among different kinds of organizations/firms that share those aims.

What if making a search on ARRIVAL bring any obligation to the searching party to contact nay one or more of the returned contact points?

No. What an ARRIVAL user does after a search is their own responsibility and prerogative. GPDR rules, as listed, always apply.

What if the listed information about a firm/organization is edited by authorized users, is the earlier information kept?

No. Except for backup purposes, no information beyond statistics of usage and what is explicitly shown to users is stored by ARRIVAL.

What if a listed firm/organization is searched on ARRIVAL and contacted afterwards, does this bring any obligation to the searching or contacted firm/organization?

No. But ARRIVAL uses this information ONLY for statistical purposes. The search data is NOT shared with anyone outside of legal authorities.

There is no Solution of Best Practice listed on the platform that meets my needs?

The ARRIVAL project database of Solutions and Best Practices was launched at the end of September 2021 and is constantly expanding as our database of users and assets grows. Check back as more content is added and contribute to the community by adding your own best practices and solutions.

My logo or background does not upload correctly on my user profile or organisation page?

All images on ARRIVAL (including profile pictures, organisation logos and background photos) look the best in specific sizes, which are mentioned when you upload an image. Kindly check if the uploaded image is of the recommended size.

I lost my password. How can I reset it?

Visit the ARRIVAL platform login page, click on ‘Forgot password’, enter your email address and a new temporary password will be sent to you. Once you login you will be prompted to change the password to a new one of your choosing.

I want to suggest a new feature for the platform or report a bug. How do I contact ARRIVAL platform developers?

The ENTRANCE project consortium member BABLE manages the development of the ARRIVAL platform. Reach out to us at support@bable-smartcities.eu We’ll take your suggestions into account and work to quickly resolve any issues preventing you from making full use of the platform.

I noticed something incorrect or information that is missing in these FAQs. How can I share this information with the ARRIVAL team?

The ARRIVAL project consortium member BABLE manages the development of the ARRIVAL platform. Send us an email to support@bable-smartcities.eu. We always love to hear feedback from our platform users, and we are happy to assist with any unresolved questions.
